I believe that most of my customers are genuine and trustworthy and will honour their bookings. If they don’t, and cancel a trip at short notice i.e. (14 Days) I would expect them to pay for the boat, unless I can re book that date.
However, if you are a new customer I would like a small deposit of £100 please for a full day trip and £50 deposit for half day trips, which would be refundable or transferable to another date if the trip was cancelled due to bad weather or breakdowns etc.
No claim will be accepted against the skipper for cancellations due to illness, breakdown or any other event beyond the skippers’ control.
Hire Equipment
I expect to lose hooks, weights, and terminal tackle, but I do not expect to lose rods and reels. In the unlikely event of you losing a rod and reel I would expect you to pay for it.
